All of our letters feature true stories from countries and places we’ve actually explored, trails we’ve hiked, parks we’ve visited, wildlife we’ve spotted, and moments we’ve shared as a family. We’re a real family creating these letters ourselves. We do every step of the process from writing the letters and drawing illustrations to picking out photographs and designing stickers and activities. What’s the mailing frequency?
Mailed monthly via USPS Snail Mail
When do you mail?
We mail on the 1st of each month
When will my child receive their first letter?
Signups close two weeks before each monthly mailing. This short window allows us time to prepare, assemble, and send your child’s first delivery. If you join after the cutoff date (15th of each month), your subscription will begin with the following month’s mailing.
Is their a tracking number?
Tracking numbers are not available as the letters are sent via snail mail with USPS
Do you ship outside of the US?
We’re currently only mailing within the USA, but send us a message to heywanderingwoods@gmail.com if you’d like us to expand!
Can I give this as a gift?
Absolutely! Our Adventure Club makes a wonderful gift for any special child in your life. Think grandchildren, nieces & nephews, your friend’s kids — the options are limitless! Simply enter the name and mailing address of the child you’d like to receive it at checkout and your gift will be headed their way in no time.
Does my subscription auto renew?
Yes, but you are free to cancel your subscription anytime
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
When you subscribe to our mail club, you’ll receive an emailed receipt with a link to manage your subscription. Follow the link to update payment methods, addresses, or cancel your subscription. Alternatively, click the Manage Subscription button below to access your account. You don’t need to create an account or password for either option, you just need to enter the email you subscribed with. You can always send us an email as well at heywanderingwoods@gmail.com if you need help.
What payment methods do you accept?
Our subscription service is set up through Stripe, which allows us to accept a wide variety of payment methods including major credit/debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
