Comparison of Seattle Priority Pass Lounges: Which One is Best?

Seattle Priority Pass Lounge Options

We just flew through Seattle and as usually, wanted to compare Priority Pass lounges for you! Surprisingly, Seattle only has two Priority Pass lounges, both run by The Club, located in Concourse A and Concourse S. This makes the comparison a little less interesting since lounges run by the same company are usually pretty similar, but we did note a few key differences between the two lounges, so decided to make this review for anyone who only has the time (or perhaps energy) to visit one Priority Pass lounge in Seattle and wants to know which one will be the best fit for them.

The Club SEA Concourse A

This is the first The Club at SEA lounge we visited located in Concourse A across from gate A11. Our first impression of this lounge was that it was a little shabby and dark without any tables or work areas to speak of, but the food selection was decent. We also appreciated the large freely accessible drinks fridge. We arrived at breakfast time and had some decent omelettes, muffins, hot chocolate for Justin, and a pretty good coffee for me. Other items on offer were bagels with lots of spreads, yogurt parfaits, and congee. I went to check out the bathroom and while it was clean and modern, there was no shower. Overall thoughts:

Pros

  • Really pleasant staff

  • Freely accessible drinks fridge

  • Decent variety of food, including vegetarian options

  • Fancy coffee machine and non-coffee options like tea and hot chocolate

Cons

  • No desks or proper tables

  • Rather shabby vibe overall

  • No shower

  • No highchairs or other family friendly features

Heading into The Club at SEA in concourse A

Low lighting while we were there and lacking style

No proper tables or work desk, just the occasional side table between chairs

Rather shabby, worn furniture

Hot breakfast options

Fruit and coffee yogurt parfaits

Juice and muffins

Nice variety of spreads for bagels

Fancy coffee machine out of which I had a nice latte

Non-coffee options provided as well

Nice accessible drinks fridge

The Club SEA Concourse S

When we finished at The Club lounge in Concourse A, we headed to The Club lounge in Concourse S. Even though it’s in a different terminal, it’s all airside so you don’t have to clear security again and it was an easy train ride between terminals. Our first thoughts upon entering the second The Club lounge was that it was definitely more spacious and looked fresher and fancier compared to the other lounge. We especially appreciated the many work desks and big table and also noted a nice long padded bench where someone was catching a nap. There was also a lot more natural light so better if you need to, say, jump on a video call for work. Since both lounges are by The Club, the food was almost identical, but with the addition of cinnamon pancakes. We were, however, sad to discover that they didn’t have a drinks fridge and their fancy coffee machine was out of service. They did have coffee in a warming pot though with various milks and it was decent. We checked out the bathrooms and they did have showers, but they were locked without any signage and out of service in the men’s bathroom per Justin. I did read on the lounge’s website though that the showers are apparently complimentary, so you must just have to check in at the front desk to have staff open them for you. Right as we were about to leave the lounge they switched from their breakfast service to their lunch service, so we were lucky enough to sample that as well. Lunch had multiple entrees like curry, fried rice, a couple soup options, sandwiches, salad, chips, cookies etc. We especially liked that there were multiple vegetarian entree options and thought the food was pretty tasty. Overall thoughts:

Pros

  • Friendly staff

  • Spacious and stylish

  • Lots of desks and a large table so better workspaces

  • Good natural light

  • Decent variety of food, including vegetarian options

  • Non-coffee drink options like tea and hot chocolate

  • Complimentary showers

Cons

  • Fancy coffee machine out of service

  • No drinks fridge - we had to ask at the bar for soda in a glass

  • Shower and a urinal out of service in the men’s bathroom

  • No highchairs or other family friendly features

Heading in The Club at SEA in concourse S

First impressions were that it was a more functional, stylish space with a lot more natural light

Lots of desk space with outlets for getting work done if needed

Good seating areas with outlets and more desks with real desk chairs

Bench seats along the back wall where someone was laid out catching a nap

Fancy coffee machine out of service unfortunately

Same non-coffee options as the other lounge

Breakfast bar

Having another omelette and some cinnamon pancakes

Hot entree options at lunch - vegetarian soup, chicken curry, chicken fried rice, and vegetarian stir fry

Nice salad bar, sandwiches, chips, and dessert at lunch

Sampling lunch as well before heading out. We thought it was pretty tasty and heard people complimenting the curry.

Women’s bathroom

The shower was locked so I was unable to get a picture

Which Lounge is Better?

So which lounge did we think was best? Our overall impression was better of The Club at SEA in concourse S (second lounge we visited) as it was more spacious with superior seating and work areas, actual desks and tables, better lighting, and just generally fresher and more stylish. The food options were also slightly more extensive comparing breakfasts. Lastly, they actually have showers if that’s an amenity you need. That said, it wasn’t a perfect lounge with several things out of order, no family friendly features like highchairs, and no drinks fridge, which is always a bummer for us as we don’t drink alcohol and like easy accessibility to a cold soda instead. If you’re like us and have time to spare, you could always stop at The Club in concourse A to enjoy the drinks fridge and then head to The Club in concourse S to enjoy the nicer lounge space!

Have you been to both Priority Pass lounges in Seattle? Which one did you like best? Has anyone used the showers in The Club in concourse S? If so, how was your experience with that and was it actually complimentary? Leave us a comment!
